with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel

completely interchangeable without further calibration.
The Mediamate's wetted parts and outer case are
made from 300 series stainless steel. It is now
being used with a wide variety of corrosive media
such as Freon®, ammonia,
water and hydraulic fluids.

Transducers
The
EA is designed for OEM uses requiring high output
and corrosion-resistance. It is well-suited for
the cycling regimes found in automatic equipment,
robots and hydraulic systems. Its pressure port,
amplifier and voltage supply regulator are packaged
in a Valox case. The EAF outputs a low frequency
digital signal which is ideal for electrically
noisy environments as well as applications requiring
long distance signal transmission or an interface
to a microprocessor. The output signal is a frequency
modulated square wave set from 1 to 6 kHz.

Transducer
The
harsh duty SA pressure transducer has a water
resistant, stainless steel case for complete protection
from harsh environments. Internal hermetic sealing
is used to provide measurement of absolute pressures
(PSIA) or pressures referenced to a sealed chamber
(PSIS). The SA produces a high level voltage output
of 1-6V output from an unregulated supply.

XPRO pressure transmitter provides both the instrument

affordable measurement. The 4-20 mA output signal
is particularly suited for long cable runs in

safe device for use in hazardous locations.

Instruments Honeywell Models EA-BD & SA-BD Bidirectional
Pressure Transducers
The
EA-BD and SA-BD Pressure Transducers sense pressure
above and below atmospheric pressure without using
a vacuum reference chamber. The transducers give
a 1 VDC output at a set negative pressure. Their
output signal is 1-6 VDC. EA-BD's are gauge models
and SA-BD's are sealed. They find wide use in
applications where pressures can go from below
atmospheric to considerably above - such as in
medical respirators or refrigeration.

Pressure Transmitter
The
BL pressure transmitter has a conventional 4-20
mA output and is available with accuracy's to
0.25%. It has Factory Mutual approval as an intrinsically
safe device for use in hazardous areas Class I,
Division I, Groups A through G. All PSIS or PSIA
BL's are hermetically sealed. The pressure sensitive
diaphragm is either 316L or 15-5PH stainless steel,
depending on the pressure range selected.
