These reference sensors are above all suitable to serve as Reference Standards in your calibration laboratory. Kistler
recommends, in addition, their pressure generators and the pressure calibrator Type 6907B with its calibration software.
The reference sensors Types 6961A250, 6962B2000 and
6963A8000 consist of a pressure sensor (Type 6213BK,
6229AK resp. 7061BK), mounted and sealed in a especially
rugged adapter. The adapter insures that the calibration
is not influenced when mounting on the pressure generator.
Moreover, it protects the sensor against sudden temperature
changes (e.g. when touching it with the hand) and against
mechanical damage.
