Tension Links Force and Load Sensing from Strainsert

Tension Links Force and Load Sensing from Strainsert (Shackle Tension Link) are superior performance sensors, for use in weighing and force measuring applications. Tension Links sensing element consists of a strain gauge bridge circuit installed in a small hole along its longitudinal axis.

This unique arrangement provides a most effective means for the protection and sealing of the strain gauge circuit while minimizing the adverse effects of extraneous torsional and flexural loads.

Tension Links can be suitably modified for underwater use, at hydrostatic pressure levels up to and exceeding 10,000 psi.

Tension Links Force and Load Sensing from Strainsert Standard load ranges: 1,500 lbs. to 300,000 lbs., higher loads are custom designed.
